Welding Trainees undergo performance assessment

The first batch of welding trainees were evaluated recently by THIEP Performance Assessors at the welding workshop. Before a trainee can move up to the next level, he is required to pass the practical assessment and written examination which covers welding principles and safety procedures. A trainee will get either Competent or Not Yet Competent as his mark based on his performance. In case a trainee received a Not Yet Competent mark, he will be given additional make up sessions until he is ready to take the re-assessment.
