THIEP SAFETY DEPARTMENT DIVISION

THIEP Safety & Professional short courses division is established as a new Division of the Technical Higher Institute for Engineering and Petroleum (THIEP), a subsidiary of the Hajr for Technical Education and Training, THIEP is operating under the supervision of the TVTC with international partnerships, accreditations and certifications.

THIEP Safety & short courses division is established to address the growing demand of Health and Safety Training in the workplace. The Safety division believes that Health and Safety training offers a number of immediate benefits to companies, such as bringing new and current employees up-to-date on the proper ways to use equipment while protecting them in the process, as well as remaining in compliance with various industry and government regulations.

THIEP Safety & short courses division is committed in delivering innovative ways practices. The division uses new training techniques, such as microlearning and blended learning, that allow employees to feel more engaged in the training process while learning at their own pace.

Accreditations and Affiliations

THIEP is a TVTC accredited technical training institution and it continuously demonstrates its ability to consistently provide quality technical training to the youth of the kingdom that prepares them in joining the Saudi labor force.

Apart from being certified and approved by TVTC (License No. 66040/1/8), THIEP is also an active member of both the American Society for Non Destructive Testing (ASNT) and the Philippines Society for Non Destructive Testing (PSNT). THIEP also signed Memorandum of Agreement with other universities for faculty and student exchange program.

ISO Certification

Recently, the institute acquired ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification with Cert. Reg. No. 44100127757. THIEP also signed Memorandum of Agreement with other universities for faculty and student exchange program. THIEP’s Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001:2008 by TUV NORD (TUV NORD CERT GmbH) in the provision of all its program offerings. This helps ensure that all training and education services consistently meet all customer and applicable statutory, regulatory and accreditation requirements. This also helps address customer satisfaction through the effective and efficient application of the system, continual improvement, and the prevention of nonconformity.
